Retention has never been so low

Eureka R&D have been working hard to develop innovative technical solutions
with the goal to lead the coffee retention even closer to ZERØ. The Blow Up
System and the 15° body incline, typical features of the former Mignon Single
Dose, are preserved and combined with New ZERØ-Retention Grind
Chamber designed to further reduce the retention. All this united to the
innovative Ø 65mm upper blind burr with no screw holes, which contributes
improving coffee retention up to 70% compared to former Mignon Single Dose.

Blind Upper Burr

Innovative system with no screw holes designed to achieve the lowest retention and get a more consistent grind output thanks to a wider grinding surface. 

 

Diamond Inside Burrs

Burrs with a superior crystal structure thanks to our patented process.

Diamond Inside is a patented process for thermal cryogenic treatment of burrs at temperature -193° C (patent pending) resulting in the formation of an increased crystal structure that guarantees a superior wear resistance and duration.

Diamond Inside is able to preserve the optimal burrs sharpness longer than any other burrs typology, keeping the granulometry constant for an exceptionally high quantity of ground coffee.

 

Anti-Retention System

The Eureka grinders stand out for a very low coffee retention which allows barista to always get 100% freshly ground coffee.

Eureka’s Anti-Retention System is the result of a highly specialized design philosophy, where multiple engineering solutions converge to drastically minimize grind retention — a key factor in ensuring consistent cup quality and reducing waste.

Extremely Low Retention - Conceived for specialty coffee, the mechanism generates an air flow able to clean the grinding chamber and grind all the coffee beans, without waste, for a perfect coffee in the cup.
